According to Verifone, the PAYware Mobile credit card reader is not yet compatible with the iOS4 iPhone software update.

Current PAYware Mobile users are advised to refrain from updating their iPhone to iOS4 until a stable version of the application is available.

For us that’s simple question to answer; we love the iPhone and we know all about the payment industry. So this is a perfect fit for us. On top of that enabling micro businesses (1-5 employees) to accept credit card payments cheaply and easily looks like a great opportunity. In the United States alone there are over 18,000,000 such businesses, many of whom have elected to accept only cash and checks for payments, until now.

What are we trying to accomplish?
